How Charges Work

We aim to be transparent about our service costs. Here's a summary of how on-site support charges are calculated.

Within Kampala

A flat on-site base fee of UGX 100,000 applies for all on-site visits within Kampala city limits. This covers travel and the first hour of technical work.

Outside Kampala

For sites outside Kampala, a transport charge of UGX 15,000 per km is added to the base fee. Distance is calculated from our Kampala office to your site.

Accommodation

Where the technician must remain on-site overnight (multi-day jobs or remote locations), accommodation is charged at UGX 80,000 per night. This is agreed in advance.

Service Plans

A monthly service plan (UGX 500,000/month) includes priority scheduling, discounted call-out rates, and regular system health check-ins. Ideal for high-uptime environments.

Service Report

All on-site visits include a written service report documenting the fault found, actions taken, parts used, and recommendations for preventing recurrence.

Frequently Asked Questions

For clients in Kampala, we aim to have a technician on-site the same day, and remote diagnosis can often begin within the hour. For sites outside Kampala, we typically aim for next-business-day on-site attendance, with remote triage starting immediately.

For standard service requests, we issue a proforma invoice and require 50% payment before dispatch. Emergency call-outs within Kampala can be billed on completion. Service plan clients are invoiced monthly.

If standard parts are in stock, we bring them on the first visit. For specialist components, we will source and advise lead time. You are only charged for parts actually used.

Yes. Our engineers are experienced with third-party installed systems. We may need time to familiarise ourselves with the configuration but we can troubleshoot and repair most industrial automation equipment regardless of who installed it.

A monthly service plan covers: priority scheduling for call-outs, one scheduled health check visit per quarter, remote monitoring setup (where applicable), discounted call-out rates, and programme backup management.

Yes — where an internet connection (4G, Wi-Fi, or wired) is available at your site, we can establish a secure remote connection to your PLC using a VPN or vendor-specific tool (Siemens, Rockwell, etc.). This is often the fastest path to fault resolution.

We cover all of Uganda. Kampala and surrounding areas are served rapidly. National coverage is available with advance booking. We also serve select clients in neighboring East African countries — contact us to discuss.

Yes. We provide practical training for operators and maintenance staff on the systems we install or repair — covering normal operation, alarm response, and basic fault-finding. Training is offered on-site or at our Kampala facility.
